Synopsis: Susan Sarandon stars as Carmel, a desperate, needy, divorcée who has lost hope in love, in a new black comedy by The Coen Brothers. On a lonely winters night, Carmel decides that her ex husband Charlie (Jeff Bridges) has darted karma long enough, and now she is going to play God with her shotgun. Carmel travels to Italy where Charlie is living with his new wife (Anjelica Huston) known as la femmina (the bitch.) However when Carmel meets Greg (Jeff Goldblum) she questions whether her moral compass has been shot off along with Charlie’s head. Carmel falls in love again, only to find that Greg has been cheating on her with la femmina. Now it’s no holds bar in a European revenge trip, which will have anyone in the firing range minus a limb.
